Marathon Training — Week 17, Day 5
8K Recovery Run
I went for a nice easy run along a groomed trail. I felt okay. My legs were a bit heavy,which is to be expected after a hard workout the previous day.
I was also feeling a bit stuffed up. I’m well over my cold, but I’m still just a bit stuffed up. I only notice it when I run. I wonder if it’s allergies — but I’ve never had allergy problems before. Whatever it is, I hope that it doesn’t affect me during the marathon.
I’m starting to get a bit nervous. I’m just nine days out now. All the hard work is long done, so the important stuff is the detail stuff. I’ve got to finalize my race plan, come up with a hydration plan, make a carbo-loading plan, etc.
